The SIMBIOSYS project, which began in April 2008, is funded by the Irish Environmental Protection Agency with a total budget in excess of €1.6 million for a major integrated project on Sectoral Impacts on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Ireland. This project, which will run for 54 months, will involve multi-disciplinary research across three Irish research institutions working in close collaboration. The partners in the project are: Trinity College Dublin (TCD), University College Cork (UCC), and University College Dublin (UCD). The overall project co-ordinator is Dr. Jane Stout (TCD), the project is managed by Dr. Jens Dauber (TCD). |
